Outcall massage, also known as "mobile massage" or "at-home massage," is when a massage therapist travels to a client's home, hotel room, or workplace, rather than the client making an appointment in a spa or massage room
Also known as a "mobile massage" or "at-home massage," an outcall massage is when a massage therapist travels to a client's home, hotel room, or workplace, rather than the client making an appointment at a spa or massage studio.
Massage therapists carry any necessary equipment with them and pack them at the end of the session.
Out-call massages are often the first choice for clients who want to relax in their own environment or who have a particularly busy schedule. It may also appeal to people with reduced mobility or the ability to travel
The massage etiquette of outcall massage is basically the same as that of incall massage, but with some additional content:
Take the time to clear the area where you will be receiving the massage, and give the therapist enough space to set the table and work.
Make sure to give your massage therapist clear on-site instructions, and if you have locked gates or entrances, have them unlocked, or meet with the massage therapist to unlock them.
You should also encourage children, pets, and roommates to play elsewhere during the massage.
